Keep up to date with Tucson Events

The blog post below keeps up to date, and even adds some more events throughout the week. You’ll also learn about music and artists around town.

Get a list of all events for the week every Monday alongside a featured artist and a musician to listen to. That’s it. No other email spam emails.

The Tucson Calendar Club is a monthly snail mail club where you will receive a even calendar as well as art from a featured Tucson artist.

A wooden stand displays a February events calendar with various activities listed, surrounded by red fabric. Next to it are three cards: one with a design featuring flowers, another with a drawing of an angel, and a third with a graphic saying 'Form a crowd stay loud'.

A resource designed from experience

As someone in the music scene, I saw just frequently music was overlooked in Tucson’s calendars. Then, as a strategist for Arizona Athletics, I noticed how MUCH money was put into advertising events and how much they tried to block out other events. Now, I use both experiences to create a marketing strategy for events that is effective, accessible, and impactful.

Let this be clear, no event is paying to be featured. Here are the specs:

5% – venue websites or publications

Once every quarter, I look at venue websites and publications, such as Visit Tucson . These are usually used for any major events, such as Winterhaven, for local music events, such as Local Love at Rialto, or for repeated events, such as Homeward Books‘ Sewing and Mending Circle.

20% – Instagram

The band scene loves a good Instagram flyer, and so does the rest of Tucson! I follow and talk to verified promoters and businesses on Instagram and see what their events are. Some examples include Still Cold Booking, Scented Leaf, and Queer Femme Tucson.

75%- The form

This is the most guaranteed way of making it to the list. This is the direct line of communication for several events around town. Of course, every event is inspected and verified. If you want to submit an event, do so here:

These events are then listed in the blog post and newsletter, along with reels and stories on Instagram and Tiktok. If the event is under $5, it will also be featured in our Monthly Calendar Club. However, they need to turn that in by the middle of the month beforehand.

So how do you know the event scene?
