SUMMARY:Pride Month Art Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Queer artist Thalo Blue (they/them) will lead participants through a Subconscious Art Exploration Workshop based on an art therapy practice called “Open Studio Practice” (OSP). OSP was originally developed by a group of art therapists in the 90’s for therapy groups and art classes. Thalo’s “Subconscious Art Exploration” workshop draws from OSP while incorporating more meditative and discussion-focused elements. The goal of this practice is to help participants enter the flow state and practice unrestricted creativity in a calm\, safe environment. \nEach event is limited to the first 15 participants.
